हवा में यूँ सरसराहट हुई जो कहीं,
तो न जाने क्यों लगा कि शायद तुम हो |
वक़्त की चिलमन से उझकती
ये रोशनी यकीनन तुम हो |
हैरान था मन-
भीगी रातों में बेइंतहा सोचा किया तुमको,
पर ग़फ़लत में भूल गया बावरा
कि मेरी हर साँस में तुम हो |
शोर की सख़्त दीवारों से यूँ छनकर
आहट आई तो लगा कि शायद तुम हो |
उदास तन्हा लम्हे जानते हैं -
कि ग़ज़ल के मिसरों में लाज़िमन तुम हो |
ज़िन्दगी के झंझावातों में -
स्नेहिल स्पर्श मिला तो लगा वो तुम हो |
पशेमान हूँ – नज़रें कैसे अनदेखा कर गईं ;
मेरे वज़ूद के हर आयाम में तुम ही तुम हो |
सूरज उगा है मेरी खिड़की से आज,
धूप ने छुआ, तो लगा की शायद वो तुम हो |
हो या न हो, ये ख़्याल तुम्हें-
पर मैं हूँ , क्योंकि तुम हो |
शायद,
यही है मेरे होने की भी सार्थकता |
