हर शै याद आती है
यादों के झरोखे में गुज़रे वक़्त की
हर शै याद आती है।
पहाड़ी पार झाँकती भोर की
आहटें याद आती हैं।
जेठ की दोपहरों में आम की
अमराइयाँ याद आती हैं।
आँगन में पसरी उदास धूप की
अनमनाहट याद आती है।
शाम ढले शमाओं की
झिलमिलाती रोशनी याद आती है।
सर्द, सूनी रातों की
वो तन्हा, तन्हाइयाँ याद आती हैं।
शायरी के लफ़्ज़ों में अनकहे जज़्बातों की
कसक याद आती है।
बारिश के पानी में हसरतों की
नाव याद आती है।
निर्मम पहाड़ो से टकराते बादलों में
खोए उस मन की
याद आती है।
बाग़ों में तितलियों-से
उड़ते रंग-बिरंगे रिबनों की
याद आती है।
तपते मन पर स्नेहिल बूँदों के स्पर्श की
सोंधी गंध याद आती है।
पहाड़ी ढलानों पर चीड़ की ओट से
खनखनाती हँसी याद आती है।
साथ चलने का मूक वादा था—
उस अधूरे सफ़र की
मगर
बहुत याद आती है।
गुज़रे वक़्त की हर शै याद आती है…
