यात्रा चाहे-

वक्त की शाखों पे लटके

लम्हों की हो |

किसी की चाहत मे

प्यार की हो |

खुद मन के

 ठहराव व भटकाव की हो |

उन्मुक्त परिंदों के

आकाश मे उड़ने की हो |

कटती तारीखों व कलेंडर के

पलटते पन्नों की हो |

फसानों मे दफ़न

 लफ्जों की हो |

बादलों के

बनने व बरसने की हो |

किवाड़ की ओर नजरे टिकाए-

सांकल की टकटक को

तरसते कानों की हो |

गंगा के कल कल करते पानी की

गंगोत्री से गंगासागर तक की हो |

मोह माया से वैराग्यता की हो |

साँसों की निरन्तरता की हो |

या फिर पटरियों पर

खटक खटक की आवाज़ के साथ

दौड़ती रेल में बैठ

कहीं पहुँचने की |

यात्रायें अक्सर-

एकाकी अंतर्मुखी और लंबी होती हैं

अधिकांश अंतयुक्त

पर कुछ अंतहीन होती हैं  

कुछ लौटने को

पर बहुत सी अवापसी होती हैं

यात्राओं मे अक्सर कई अन्य

छोटी बड़ी यात्राएं उलझी होती हैं  

जरूरी नहीं की गंतव्य ही हो

बिना मंज़िल भी यात्राएं होती हैं

हर यात्रा ऊर्जावान और गतिमान होती है

कुछ से ज़िंदगी चलती हैं

तो कुछ ज़िंदगी भर चलती हैं  |

यात्रा चाहे -

किसी की हो  

कैसी भी हो

और कभी भी हो

बहुत निज होती है |

इस निजता में ही

यात्रा का सार भी निहित है |

अंतयुक्त- जिसका अंत हो , अवापसी- जिससे वापस ना लौटें
