तुम्हें ढूँढ ही लेता हूँ

कदमों की पदचापों से पहचान लेता हूँ

साँसों के उच्छ्वास–निःश्वास से जान लेता हूँ

आँखों की नमी से मन को भांप लेता हूँ

मदहोश हवा में-

ख़ुशबू तुम्हारी ढूँढ ही लेता हूँ |

सर्दियों की शामें अक्सर सूनी होती हैं

सर्द अँधेरों में समाने को विवश होती हैं

सन्नाटों की चादर ओढ़ रातें भी सोती हैं

सन्नाटों की दरारों में-

तुम्हें मगर दूँढ़ ही लेता हूँ |

फ़ासला मुझसे कितना ही चाहे रखा करो

भुलाने का भी कितना ही जतन करा करो

या दूर कितना ही क्यों न चली जाया करो

यादों के झुरमुटों में-

तुम्हें मगर दूँढ़ ही लेता हूँ |

छिटकी हो नीरव रातों में चाँदनी सी

फैली हो सर्द सुबहों में गुलाबी धूप सी

शामिल हो मेरे अस्तित्व में मीठे अहसास सी

आँखें बंद कर ख्यालों में –

तुम्हें बुन ही लेता हूँ |

साथ चलने का तुम्हारा मौन वादा था

आसमाँ के तारे साथ गिनने का भी अहद था

अधूरे सफर की कसक बेहद तन्हा करती है

लंबी होती अपनी परछाई में-

मगर तुम्हें ढूँढ ही लेता हूँ |
