उम्र-भर लम्बा फ़ासला- a poem by Manoj Mittal

In this poem, the poet walks through the scorching summer of Jeth (जेठ—one of the hottest months) and is surprised to feel an uncanny “coolness” (ठंडक) in the middle of a dust storm (अंधड़). He suspects it is because the wind has passed through the beloved’s street, carrying their presence. The day’s long, silent roads bring him back again to a lonely evening threshold (साँझ की इस तन्हा दहलीज़), where he aches for just one glimpse (झलक)—a desire so intense (शिद्दत भरी तलब) that he almost knocks at the door latch

(किवाड़ की साँकल), yet his raised hand stops on its own. Though he was once told not to return, his restless heart still looks into time’s darkness and finds only embers in ash—burnt dreams and what remains of hope. In a gathering (बज़्म), the song he “recites” feels like verses (अशआर) made from the beloved’s silence, carefully kept safe (महफ़ूज़) behind his eyelids even in harsh weather. Exhausted by life’s troubled turn (दौर-ए-गर्दिश), he sleeps in the arms of memory and asks the moon to pause at his window. Yet despite the heat within him (तपिश) and even with the beloved’s hand in his, he cannot understand why an “age-long distance” still stands between them—why, when both are present, separation persists in the space “between.”

Beacause of the technology..connects istantantly to so many things persons outside at the same time. It allows us to live a different world in the same enviourment. Previously one member earned everybody shared., now everybody earns enjoys on there own. Poem has beautiful described where humans have reached in the quest of comforts and indivisual freedom
