आज़ादी की सालगिरह

आज़ादी की सालगिरह आई है

फिर तिरंगा फहराया जाएगा

तकरीरें होंगी

और होंगी कसमें आज़ादी की |

हमने भी आज़ादी मे आँखें खोली थी

आज़ाद फिज़ा में ली थी साँसे

आज़ाद वतन की मिट्टी में खेले थे

हम तुम और सब |

बरसते पानी की फुहार

मस्त हवा की बयार

सरसों के खेतों में पीले फूलों के रंग

पुल की मेहराबों के नीचे दरिया का पानी

दिवाली की मिठाई

क्रिसमस की केक

होली के रंग

ईद की ईदी

मंदिर का प्रसाद

गुरुद्वारे का लंगर

सब सांझा था

हमारा तुम्हारा और सबका |

क्यों फिर हम गुलाम हुए

जाति धर्म और वर्ग में तकसीम हुए

लालच ताकत और अज्ञान के अधीन हुए |

आज़ादी क्या केवल सरहदों की होती है

या

सरकारों और चुनावों तक सिमटी होती है

हम सबके -

सपनों जज़्बातों और हकों का क्या ?

हम तो एक पुरातन गौरवशाली विरासत के

उत्तराधिकारी हैं

विश्व गुरु बनने का सामर्थ्य रखते हैं

आज़ादी की कीमत खूब समझतें हैं |

कायम रखने को आज़ादी हमे -

एक दूसरे का हमसाया बनना होगा

सबके सपनों को अपनाना होगा

सावधान सरमायेदारों से रहना होगा

विवेक को विवेकशील बनाना होगा |

तभी सपनों को रंग

ख्यालों को पर

जज़्बातों को दिल

हकों को यकीं और

आज़ादी को सही अर्थ मिल पाएंगे |
