अपने अपने अँधेरे

अमावस्या की रात्रि का घनेरा

कहीं झिलमिलाता आशा का कंदील

दिव्य दीपक का दीप्तिमान आलोक-

भटकी राह का पथ प्रदर्शक

तिल तिल जल-

पर स्वयं अँधेरे में रहने को अभिशप्त |

ठहरे वक़्त के अँधेरे साये

मन में अलसातीं अंगड़ाइयाँ

सपनों के मस्तूल थामें आतीं यादें-

स्नेहिल स्निग्ध मोहक सम्मोहन सी

उजास होते ही-

पर अँधेरे में गुम होने को अभिशप्त |

माया के भंवर में मन के अँधेरे

बीतरागी बन वैराग्य का आलाप

सूरज के घोड़े पर किरणों का सफर

शाम ढले लौटती बेढ़ाल किरणें-

अँधेरे नुक्कड़ पे घुँघरुओं की रूनझुन में

पर रिलने को अभिशप्त |

अनहोनी के भय में सहमी सांसें

स्पंदित मन विचरता सोच के जंगलों में

गहरी साँसों में घुले ॐ के उच्छ्वास

अँधेरे में दरवाजे की दरारों से आती धूप

क्षितिज पार सुनाई देते अभय दिव्य स्वर

भयभीत मन के अँधेरों में -

पर क्षीण होने को अभिशप्त |

दीपक का अंधेरा..सपनों के मस्तूल..

लौटती बेढ़ाल किरणें.. घुंघुरुओं की रूनझुन..

सोच में विचरता मन..और क्षीण होते दिव्य स्वर..

अँधेरे कोने है सब अपने अपने |

मस्तूल – जहाज पर खड़ा किया जाने वाला खंबा (mast) जिस पर पाल (sail) बाँधा जाता है / सहारा , अभिशप्त- शापित (cursed), बीतरागी- वयक्ति जिसने राग-द्वेष, मोह माया से ऊपर उठकर वैराग्य प्राप्त कर लिया हो , आलाप- संवाद/ स्वरपूर्ण अभिव्यक्ति , रिलना-मिलना
