सफर

सफर में  आँधियाँ बहुत थीं

और आसमाँ था गरम :

ज़माने की नज़रे भी तल्ख थीं

हर पड़ाव था छलावा :

और साये भी कहाँ मयस्सर थे |

नाउम्मीदीयों में भी

थके पाँव चलता रहा

हसरतों के साथ

उन तन्हा रास्तों पर

बिखरे थे सपने जहाँ खाक में ;

मंजिलों की भी कहाँ पहचान थी |

मिलें कुछ लम्हे सकून के

और साये बहार के ;  

तो लिखूँ फसाने प्यार के

कहूँ तराने ख्बाब के |

लंबे तन्हा और तल्ख सफर मे

ख्यालातों की हसीन दुनियाँ मे

बुने कितने ही सपने ;

उम्मीदों ने एतबार कर

कसकर थामी थी

मन की डोलती कश्ती ;

जैसे मांझी संभालता

भंवर में कश्ती |

दूँढ़ ही लेता है मन-

उदासीयों में खुशी का सबब

और

नाउम्मीदीयों में भी उम्मीदों का फलक |

बेहद हसीन है मेरा ये सफर |
